Tree Communications to deliver project for David Luke Ltd

David Luke Limited has been shortlisted for the HSBC global connections competition.  Now named as the North and Scotland’s regional finalist they have made it through to the next round along with well-known brand names such as Graze and Sweaty Betty.

The Manchester based firm has now enlisted Tree Communications to help them maximize the PR and marketing opportunities from this accolade.

David Luke supply Eco school uniforms, scout and guidewear across the UK.  They were shortlisted for the competition due to the international interest in its Eco fabric, made using post-consumer waste plastic bottles to produce everyday school uniforms.

“We are thrilled to be working with such a well-respected and experienced PR consultant such as Sarah at Tree communications. In the short time we have been working with her, she has already demonstrated her enthusiasm and commitment to ensuring we get the most from our progress in the HSBC global connections competition and we look forward to an interesting and fruitful next few months!” said Kirsty Conroy, Marketing Manager at David Luke limited.

The firm is now through to the final stage of the HSBC competition which includes a presentation to the judging panel with the overall winner being announced on 18th June.

Tree Communications are no strangers to promoting eco-friendly design having just completed a successful project for Fashion Philippines and Manila Wear in conjunction with London Fashion Week that featured socially designed products created by emerging young designers made from indigenous Filipino ingredients and recycled materials such as plastic bottles.

Sarah Gormley said

“We are thrilled to be working with another inspirational client who has an innovative eco-product that is shaking up the school clothing industry on a global level.”
